![]() |
| Specific Editor’s Instructions are available at the top of the Recommendation screen. |
| To access
all reviews and comments from Reviewers, enter the manuscript in question,
where you will access this folder “View
Reviews and Comments”: The following screen will appear:
|
|
| Each link
will take you to the information relative to the reviews or to the
reviewers information. During the review process, Reviewers complete a Manuscript
Rating Card as a kind of quick evaluation questionnaire. Each
version of the submission is included in the Rating Card thus allowing you
to compare reviews for revisions.
|
Once you have evaluated all reviews, you can proceed with your decision. |
| Completing the Editor’s Form |
| Choose
your recommendation term (Accept, Reject, Revise, etc.) by using the
pull-down menu at the top of the form. Enter
your review comments to the Author and Editor in the fields provided. Many
reviewers type their comments into Word in order to use spell-check and
other features, and then ‘copy’ and ‘paste’ the comments into the
boxes provided. Clicking the ‘Open in New Window’ button at the top
right of the data entry fields will open the field in a new browser
window. This provides you with a larger view of the review field, which
may make things simpler.
|
Click the “Save & Submit Later” button if you want to save your comments and continue working at another time. Click “Proof and Print” to open a window containing the review information you have provided so that you may print out your review for your records. Submitting
your comments |
| The
manuscript will now move to the folder “My assignments with decision”
where it will remain.
When the Author has been notified by the Editorial Office, the Editor Decision link offers a direct link to the letter of decision. When you do not see this link, it means that your decision has been made but not yet sent to the Author.
